Photo and Document Access
The app requests access to:
- Photo Library: To select receipt screenshots for scanning
- Camera (optional): To take photos of receipts
- Files: To select PDF receipts
These permissions are used solely for receipt scanning. Images are processed on-device using Apple’s Vision framework and are never uploaded to external servers.
Data Retention
Your data remains on your device until you:
- Delete individual receipts
- Use “Delete All Data” in Settings
- Uninstall the app
Children’s Privacy
Upcharge is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access all your data (it’s on your device)
- Delete your data at any time
- Export your data (CSV or PDF)
