Data Stored Locally (Pro Users):

Saved Procedures: If you are a Pro subscriber, you may save medical procedures with personal notes. This data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage API and is synced across your Chrome browsers if you are signed into Chrome.

Payment Information:

Payment processing is handled entirely by ExtensionPay and Stripe.
We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial information.
ExtensionPay may store your email address to manage your subscription. Please refer to ExtensionPay’s Privacy Policy for details.

Information We Do NOT Collect:

We do not collect personal health information
We do not track your browsing history
We do not collect analytics or usage data
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies
We do not sell or share any data with third parties

How We Use Information

The only data stored by CarePrice (saved procedures for Pro users) is used solely to provide you with the functionality you requested—saving and retrieving your medical procedure notes across sessions.

Data Storage and Security

All user data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s secure storage API.
If you are signed into Chrome, your saved procedures may sync across your devices via Chrome Sync.
We do not operate servers that store your personal data.
Uninstalling the extension will remove all locally stored data.

Medical Pricing Data

The medical procedure pricing data displayed in CarePrice is sourced from the publicly available CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) Physician Fee Schedule. This data:

Is bundled within the extension (no external data requests)
Represents Medicare reference pricing only
Is for informational purposes and should not be considered as actual costs
Is updated periodically with new CMS releases

Third-Party Services

CarePrice uses the following third-party service for payment processing:

Children’s Privacy

CarePrice is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
